Course Details

The Summer term runs from 3rd May until 8th July 2011. Daytime and evening courses at Shoreditch and Kensington Palace run for ten weeks. Daytime classes run from 10am-5pm and evening courses run from 6.30-9pm. We also offer afternoon only sessions at Kensington Palace classes in addition to normal daytime and evening courses. These take place between 2pm-5pm.

Charcoal is provided free of charge and a variety of paper is available at a cost in the studio.

If you enrol on an "out of house" course, in a museum, gallery,
or out and about in London you will be provided with a factsheet detailing when and where to meet and what to bring.

Shoreditch:
Daytime courses held in the studio or print room generally start promtly at 10am and end at 5pm with a one hour break for lunch and shorter breaks throughout the day. No food or drink is allowed in the studios but the ground floor gallery is a pleasant place to eat a packed lunch and the neighborhood has many small cafes.

Kensington Palace studios:
Kensington Palace studios are located in private rooms in a part of the Palace normally closed to the public. Our dedicated painting and drawing studios have high ceilings and plenty of natural light and are ideal for art classes. Charcoal is provided free of charge and a variety of paper is available at cost price. Coffee and tea are provided during breaks. If you enrol on a painting course, you will be provided with a factsheet detailing what materials to bring.

Please note: In order to work in these private rooms new students must complete a security clearance form at least two weeks before attending a class. (Repeat students need not submit a new security form.)

Please download a security form, fill it in and fax it to 020 7613 8599, scan it and email it to mailto:info@princesdrawingschool.org or post it to The Prince’s Drawing School, 19-22 Charlotte Road, EC2A 3SG.
